Is the Wayex card a crypto debit card or a credit card?
It works like a debit card, not a credit card. The Wayex Visa Card spends your own crypto and AUD balance, converting crypto to Australian dollars at the moment you tap. There is no credit line, no interest and nothing to repay.
How does the Wayex crypto card work?
Choose which of your crypto assets funds the card in the app, then tap to pay anywhere Visa is accepted. Wayex converts your crypto to AUD at the till at the live rate, with a conversion fee of at most 0.40% that drops with your trading volume, as low as 0%.
What does the crypto card cost?
The digital card is free to order in the app, there is no annual card fee and there are no Wayex foreign transaction fees. When crypto converts to AUD you pay your fee tier rate, at most 0.40% and as low as 0%, so $100 of groceries costs at most 40 cents in Wayex fees.
Which cryptocurrencies can I spend with the card?
Any of the 137 crypto assets listed on Wayex, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins like USDT and USDC. Pick the asset you want to spend from your account settings and switch any time.
Can I use the Wayex crypto card overseas?
Yes. The card works anywhere in the world Visa is accepted, online and in store, with no Wayex foreign transaction fees on your spending.
